Transparent Hands is going to organize a free medical camp in Sanghar, Sindh. The free medical camp will facilitate hundreds of deserving patients in this underdeveloped area. Our medical camp team will provide the following healthcare services:

- Free Medicines
- Free Hepatitis B & C Screenings
- Free BSR and Blood Pressure Screenings
- Free Registration of Deserving Cases for Surgeries and Medical Procedures
- Free Uric Acid Test
- Free Cholesterol Test
Challenges
Sanghar District faces major health problems related to waterborne diseases, including diarrhea, typhoid, and hepatitis A, due to inadequate sanitation and limited access to clean drinking water. The district is also at risk for vector-borne diseases like malaria and dengue fever, transmitted by mosquitoes. Additionally, there is a prevalence of communicable diseases such as tuberculosis and respiratory infections, due to lack of proper healthcare facilities.
Our Solution
Transparent Hands plans to organize a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session in Sanghar for deserving patients. Qualified doctors and specialists will provide free consultations, medicines, and diagnostic tests. Patients requiring surgeries or other medical treatments will be registered with Transparent Hands and referred to one of our affiliated hospitals. Transparent Hands organized a free medical camp and a dedicated preventive healthcare session, aiming to provide high-quality healthcare to underprivileged patients. This took place in the village of Hasoo Khan Babbar, Jam Nawaz Ali, Sanghar on December 24, 2023.
Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests
During the medical camp, a total of 521 deserving patients received free consultations from expert doctors. They were also provided with complimentary medications, diabetes tests, hepatitis B & C screenings, malaria screenings, cholesterol checks, and blood pressure evaluations. Additionally, 45 diagnostic tests were conducted to help identify any health concerns.

Diseases and Treatments
Many patients who attended the medical camp had diverse health issues, including fever, cough, flu, sore throat, earache, toothache, chest congestion, diabetes, migraine, high blood pressure, hepatitis, abdominal pain, diarrhea, gastric problems, body pain, and general weakness.

The medical camp team consisted of 14 members, including 1 supervisor, 3 doctors (2 females and 1 male), 1 staff nurse, 2 lab technicians, 2 pharmacists,5 patient registrars, and 1 photographer.
