Transparent Hands intends to arrange a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session to extend essential medical assistance to needy patients in Jaranwala. Due to inadequate water sanitation, common diseases like cholera and diarrhea are prevalent in Jaranwala. Scabies and upper respiratory tract infections are also widely spreading among the people in Jaranwala.
Despite the efforts to improve healthcare accessibility, many residents of Jaranwala still face significant challenges in receiving medical attention. The region’s population struggles with limited healthcare facilities and financial hardships, making it difficult for families to seek medical consultations or purchase medicines. A lack of health education further aggravates the issue, as many people are unaware of the importance of preventive care, resulting in delayed treatment and worsening health conditions.
Solution:
To address these ongoing challenges, Transparent Hands is arranging another free medical camp in Jaranwala. This camp will provide free consultations, diagnostic services, and medicines for the underserved community. Transparent Hands, with the generous support of Rafhan Maize Products Co. Ltd & Musa Bilal, recently held a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session to extend quality healthcare to needy patients in Faisalabad. It was held on December 31, 2024, at Waheed Maternity Home, Chak 235 RB, Nayamuana, District Faisalabad.
Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests
A total of 180 deserving patients received free consultations from expert doctors. Medicines, diabetes tests, uric acid tests, hepatitis B & C screenings, and blood pressure check-ups were also provided free of charge. Diseases and Treatments
Most of the patients who received consultations were suffering from flu, allergies, scabies, fever, diabetes, body pains, cough, and stomach issues. Moreover, free medicines were distributed among a large number of deserving patients.
Preventive Healthcare Session
Our expert doctors held a preventive healthcare session for the attendees at the free medical camp. The session focused on the prevention of Hepatitis C.

The free medical camp made a difference in the lives of 180 deserving patients in Faisalabad.
