Make an Impact in Okara with Free Healthcare

Transparent Hands is arranging another free medical camp and preventive healthcare session in Okara to provide essential medical services to communities facing health challenges. Despite being an agriculturally rich district, Okara lacks accessible and affordable healthcare for its residents. Many needy patients in the area are unable to access essential treatments due to financial constraints. This upcoming medical camp is aimed at addressing these gaps and improving the overall well-being of the local population.
Challenges
In Okara, overburdened public hospitals, inadequate facilities, and expensive treatments, make it incredibly difficult for people to access basic medical care. The lack of regular health screenings and awareness further contributes to late diagnoses and complications. These healthcare barriers have left a significant portion of the population vulnerable to avoidable health risks.
According to a report by the National Institute of Health (NIH), common diseases in Okara include diarrhea, malaria, upper respiratory tract infections, typhoid, and tuberculosis.
Solution
To address these healthcare issues, Transparent Hands is organizing a free medical camp in Okara. Through this initiative, we aim to reach the most deserving individuals who cannot afford basic medical services. By providing a range of healthcare services, the camp will make a lasting impact on the community. At the medical camp, our dedicated team of doctors, nurses, lab technicians, and volunteers will provide the following free services:
· General Check-Ups
· Gynecology Check-Ups
· Blood Pressure Check-Ups
· Hepatitis B & C Screenings
· Ultrasound Scans
· Uric Acid Tests
· Cholesterol Tests
· BSR (Blood Sugar) Tests
· Preventive Healthcare Session
· Deserving Surgical/Medical procedure cases will be registered
Preventive Healthcare Session
In addition to medical services, a preventive healthcare session will be held to raise awareness about one of the common health issues in the region. The session aims to educate the attendees about the importance of early detection and adopting healthier lifestyles.
