Make Quality Healthcare Accessible to the Needy in Quetta
Transparent Hands is setting up a free medical camp to heal lives in Quetta, Pakistan. We are dedicated to our mission of improving access to healthcare for underserved communities. Many deserving patients face numerous challenges in accessing adequate medical care in Quetta. Through this medical camp, we aim to fill the gap in healthcare services, offering much-needed medical support to the people of Quetta and ensuring they have access to the medical care they deserve.
Challenges:
Quetta is among the largest cities in Pakistan and is the capital of Balochistan. However, many underprivileged people can’t access on-time medical interventions from the often overburdened local hospitals. Those who live in slums and low-income areas are unable to get affordable medical care. Their financial constraints make it impossible for them to seek medical attention from private hospitals.
According to a report by UNICEF, 44% of Quetta’s residents are affected by diarrhea, 25% by other gastrointestinal issues, and 21% by Cholera. Therefore, there is a need to provide essential medical support to the needy in Quetta.
Solution:
To address these health challenges faced by deserving people, we are going to set up a free medical camp in Quetta. They will be provided with free medications, consultations, lab tests, and treatments. · Deserving Surgical/Medical procedure cases will be registered
Preventive Healthcare Session:
Aside from medical services, our expert doctors will arrange a preventive healthcare session to educate the individuals regarding risk factors, causes, and management of one of the common health issues in Quetta. This is how they will be provided with the knowledge to take proactive steps in maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
This educational effort, coupled with medical services, will provide lasting benefits to the community, improving both health and awareness.
