Transparent Hands recently organized a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session in Dumba Goth, near Karachi Toll Plaza, Superhighway, Karachi on October 21, 2023. The main purpose of the camp is to provide quality medical care to impoverished patients, offering them a glimmer of hope and support in their time of need

Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests

During the free medical camp in Dumba Goth, 483 deserving patients were able to receive free consultations with expert doctors. They were also provided with free medicines, diabetes tests, hepatitis B and C screenings, malaria and cholesterol check-ups, as well as blood pressure check-ups. Additionally, a total of 78 diagnostic tests were conducted and provided at no cost to the patients.

Diseases and Treatments

Most of the patients who sought consultation were suffering from fever, cough, sore throat, chest infection, earache, weak eyesight, toothache, migraine, kidney pain, diabetes, abdominal pain, diarrhea, piles, High BP, body weaknesses, tuberculosis, fungal infection, skin rashes, constipation, urine infection, eczema, and anemia.

Impact

The free medical camp held in Dumba Goth Karachi, had a profound impact on the lives of 483 deserving patients and their families.
