Free Medical Camp in Mian Channu by Transparent Hands and Abid Hospital
Transparent Hands, in collaboration with Abid Hospital, organized a free medical and surgical camp on February 20, 2020, at Abid Hospital, Mian Channu for the underprivileged community in the area. The Transparent Hands team and the Abid Hospital team managed this camp together. 309 patients were provided free consultation and medicines. Ultrasound facility, hepatitis B&C tests, blood sugar tests, and blood pressure tests were also provided free of cost.
In this medical camp, 48 medical and surgical cases were identified and 27 patients were diagnosed with hepatitis. All these cases were registered with the organization for further treatment. The Transparent Hands team also visited registered patient Sabiha Bibi who was successfully operated on at Abid Hospital and was in recovery there.
The medical camp team included 1 supervisor, 7 doctors (5 male and 2 female), 1 pharmacist, 2 lab technologists, 2 patient registrars, 1 photographer, 5 staff nurses, and 5 crew workers.
The camp successfully provided quality healthcare to more than 309 patients in the surrounded area of Mian Channu. We look forward to many such collaborations in the future to facilitate the poor and deserving people of Pakistan. Please keep supporting us!
