Free Medical Camp in Chakwal sponsored by Qazi Foundation Pakistan
Transparent Hands organized a free medical camp on 30th August 2019 in Langah, Chakwal. The camp was arranged by Transparent Hands with the collaboration of Qazi Foundation Pakistan. In the camp, 262 patients were examined by a team of doctors free of cost. Free blood sugar and blood pressure facility was also given in the camp.
Different laboratory tests including Hepatitis B and C screening and Ultrasound were conducted and free medicines were provided to the patients. Around 30% of the patients were suffering from abdominal pain while others complained of weakness, joint pain, diarrhea, skin allergy, and many other ailments. In this camp, 3 general surgical cases were identified; Varicose Veins, Inguinal Hernia, Hemangioma. These patients were further pre-registered with Transparent Hands for free surgical treatment.
Transparent Hands and Qazi Foundation team comprising of 16 members managed this medical camp successfully. We look forward to organizing many such camps to facilitate the poor and deserving people in remote areas across Pakistan including Chakwal where people are deprived of basic healthcare facilities. Getting a medical procedure or surgical treatment is nothing but a dream for them. Transparent Hands with the help of its partner organizations aims to reduce healthcare disparity by reaching out to needy people and providing them with the best healthcare services free of cost.
