Transparent Hands plans to support numerous deserving patients in Karachi with its upcoming medical camp. The purpose of arranging the camp is to make quality healthcare services accessible to those who can’t afford them.

Karachi is one of the largest cities in the world. However, many of its residents don’t have access to essential health services, so they suffer from avoidable and treatable diseases. Our free medical camp will offer free consultations, diagnostic tests, and medicines to the most deserving patients in the city.

Challenges:

Karachi faces many health-related problems. The city’s struggling healthcare system gets further challenged by issues like poor water sanitation, weak sewage systems, overcrowding, and a lack of resources. The existing healthcare facilities are often inadequate to serve the masses. Consequently, the low-income communities suffer the worst. They are usually left with limited or no accessibility to acceptable healthcare facilities.
In Karachi, a large number of people suffer from infections, chronic diseases, diarrhea, gastroenteritis, and infectious diseases such as Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C.

Solution:

Transparent Hand plans to arrange a free medical camp in Karachi to provide relief to deserving patients. A preventive healthcare session will also be arranged to educate patients. Transparent Hand’s qualified and experienced doctors, nurses, lab technologists, and pharmacists are eager to serve the needy. The following services are planned for the medical camp:

· General Check-Ups
· Gynecology Check-Ups
· Blood Pressure Check-Ups
· Uric Acid Tests
· Cholesterol Tests
· Hepatitis B & C Screenings
· BSR (Blood Sugar) Tests
· Preventive Healthcare Session
· Deserving Surgical/Medical procedure cases will be registered

Preventive Healthcare Session:

Our preventive healthcare session will be a unique and impactful part of the upcoming medical camp in Karachi. Transparent Hand believes that prevention is better than cure. The session will educate people about preventive healthcare so that they can live healthier and more robust lives.

Your contribution can change many lives and fill numerous homes with joy. These patients and their families will never forget your generosity. Play your part in securing Pakistan’s future with free quality healthcare.

 Diseases and Treatments

At the free medical camp, most of the patients who received consultations were suffering from flu, skin allergies, scabies, fever, diabetes, body pains, cough, and stomach issues. Free medicines were given to a large number of deserving patients.

Preventive Healthcare Session

Our expert doctors held a preventive healthcare session for the attendees at the free medical camp. The session focused on the prevention and management of scabies. It is an itchy skin rash caused by the parasitic infestation.

Impact

The free medical camp made a difference in the lives of 680 needy patients and their families. High medical costs, crowded public hospitals, and long wait times prevent many deserving patients from seeking timely care. This results in worse health conditions and a high prevalence of treatable illnesses among them. This medical camp served as a glimmer of hope for many poor patients seeking healthcare access. The camp provided numerous healthcare services, including consultations, lab tests, screenings, and medicines.

Through a preventive healthcare session, participants gained valuable insights into maintaining their health and well-being, empowering a culture of awareness and prevention. Overall, this medical camp was tailored to meet the specific healthcare needs of vulnerable communities, giving them hope and relief. We extend our deepest gratitude to you for supporting this camp and bringing a remarkable difference in the lives of needy patients in Karachi.

Medical Camp Team

The medical camp team consisted of 21 members, including two supervisors, four doctors (two males and two females), 2 lab technicians, 3 pharmacists, 6 patient registrars, 2 crew members, 1 photographer, and 1 driver.
