Uplift Low-Income Communities in Multan with Free Healthcare
Transparent Hands is organizing a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session in Jalalpur Pirwala, a historic town in Multan, Punjab. The area faces significant healthcare challenges due to limited medical facilities and a lack of resources. Many residents are unable to access basic medical care, which has led to an increase in preventable diseases and health complications. At the upcoming medical camp in Multan, we will facilitate needy patients by providing them with free consultations, lab tests, ultrasound scans, medicines as well as treatments.
Challenges
The healthcare system in Multan struggles to meet the needs of its population. Public hospitals and clinics are often overwhelmed, and a large number of residents cannot afford private medical care. Poor hygiene practices and lack of awareness contribute to the spread of these illnesses, further straining the community’s well-being.
Multan is counted among the most polluted cities in Pakistan, leading to a rise in respiratory diseases. Moreover, water-borne diseases are also common due to inadequate sewerage systems.
Solution
In order to address these health challenges, Transparent Hands is arranging a comprehensive medical camp to provide healthcare services in Multan. The camp will ensure timely diagnosis and treatment of health issues, preventing minor conditions from turning into serious complications. Our team of experienced doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and volunteers will provide the following free healthcare services.
– General medical consultations
– Gynecological check-ups
– Blood pressure checkups
– Hepatitis B & C screenings
– Ultrasound scans
– Diagnostic tests for blood sugar, cholesterol, and uric acid
– Distribution of free medicines
– Registration of eligible patients for surgeries and advanced treatments
Preventive Healthcare Session
In Multan, the residents will also gain insights through a preventive healthcare session. This session will be delivered by qualified doctors, focusing on one of the common health problems. This initiative will empower the community to adopt healthier lifestyles and make good decisions about their well-being.
