Saima Bibi's Story

Meet Saima Bibi, a 31‑year‑old woman from Kasur, Punjab, who is currently 33 weeks pregnant with her third child. Having previously delivered two children through C‑sections, she recently visited the hospital for a routine medical checkup. After evaluating her condition, the doctor recommended a C‑section to ensure the safe arrival of her baby. Unfortunately, the cost of the procedure is beyond her family’s financial means. Without the recommended C‑section, both Saima and her baby may face serious health risks. Women with a history of multiple C‑sections are at increased risk of uterine rupture, excessive bleeding, infection, and complications during childbirth. Delaying or avoiding the recommended procedure may endanger the health of both the mother and baby.

Saima is a housewife and the mother of two young children. Her husband works as a shopkeeper and is the sole earning member of the family, bringing home only PKR 40,000 per month. His modest income is used to provide for seven family members, including monthly house rent of PKR 7,000 and utility bills amounting to PKR 10,000. Although the family lives in a rented house, their limited resources make it impossible to afford the cost of Saima’s C‑section.

Saima shared her heartfelt plea as follows:

“I’m worried about the risk I will face if we’re unable to receive a C-section. My husband’s modest income is barely enough to cover the basic household needs. This surgery will change my life. Kindly help me.”

A mother’s health is the foundation of her family’s well‑being. Your support can help Saima receive a C‑section and give her baby the safest possible start in life.

Give Sadaqah and help Saima undergo her much‑needed C‑section.
