Hanan Kaleem's Story

Hanan Kaleem, 15 months old, was diagnosed with midgut volvulus after his birth. The doctors performed an ileostomy on him two days after his birth. He was advised a final ileostomy reversal surgery. For this purpose, Hanan was admitted in Akram Medical Complex and his exploratory laparotomy for ileostomy reversal was done. His ileocolic anastomosis was performed by Dr. M. Bilal Mirza on 19.01.2021. He stayed in the hospital for seven days and was discharged in a stable condition. Hanan is on his way to a complete recovery now
