Hareem Fatima's Story

Hareem Fatima from Lahore, aged four years, was suffering from Anorectal Malformation since birth. She had Rectovestibular fistula because of which five days after her birth, a colostomy was performed and a stoma was placed. Few months back her PSARP surgery was conducted at a public hospital to make her back passage. She has significantly healed and the doctor has now advised her to undergo colostomy reversal. For this purpose, Hareem Fatima was registered at Transparent Hands. She later got admitted to Akram Medical Complex where her surgery was performed by Dr. Bilal Mirza on 05.07.2021. She stayed in the hospital for seven days and was discharged in a stable condition.
