Free Medical Camp Held in Korangi Karachi, on February 27, 2023

Transparent Hands recently held a free medical camp at Korangi with a preventive healthcare session to ensure that impoverished patients have access to quality healthcare. The free medical camp was held at Korangi No. 5 DMC and Education Zonal District Office, Karachi, on February 27, 2023.

Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests

Our medical team, which included doctors, nurses, and pharmacists, provided a wide range of healthcare services to 405 deserving patients. The patients received:

• Blood Sugar Test
• Blood Pressure Checkup
• Uric Acid Test
• Cholesterol Test
• Typhoid Test

Most Common Diseases 

The patients were diagnosed with a wide range of health problems, such as cough, flu, seasonal allergies, ear infection, chest pain, thyroid, migraine, mouth ulcers, constipation, diabetes, high blood pressure, joint pain, calcium deficiency, body weakness, skin infection, tuberculosis, and joint pain. 

Preventive Healthcare Session

Our specialist and experienced doctors addressed the audience at a preventive healthcare session at the medical camp. They discussed the importance of using clean and safe water, practicing good personal hygiene, and the safe disposal of human waste
