Free Medical Camp Held in Leel Village, Lahore, on December 21, 2022

Transparent Hands recently organized a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session to facilitate hundreds of deserving patients from this underprivileged area. The free medical camp was held in Leel Village, Lahore, on December 21, 2022.

Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests

Our medical team, which included doctors, nurses, and pharmacists provided a wide range of healthcare services to 135 deserving patients. They received

• Hepatitis B & C Screenings 
• Blood Sugar Test
• Blood Pressure Checkup
• Uric Acid Test
• Cholesterol Test
• Typhoid Test

Most Common Diseases 

The patients were diagnosed with various health problems such as Hepatitis C, typhoid, throat infection, seasonal allergies, coughing, asthma, ear pain, gastric diseases, diabetes, blood pressure, respiratory diseases, gynecological problems, jaundice, kidney pain, and body pain.

Preventive Healthcare Session

A female doctor held a preventive healthcare session for all attendees at the medical camp. The doctor briefed the attendees to raise awareness about typhoid and discussed its symptoms, causes, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention. 

Impact 

The free medical camp in Leel Village made a difference in the lives of 135 patients and their families. Thousands of donors worldwide are helping Transparent Hands champion the noble cause of providing quality healthcare facilities to underprivileged people in different parts of the country. 

Medical Camp Team 

The team for this free medical camp consisted of 11 members, including one supervisor, two doctors (one male and one female), two pharmacists, a lab technician, two staff nurses, a patient registrar, a photographer, and a crew worker.
