Charitable organizations work for the comfort, security and the prosperity of the public. These organizations work to ensure the well being of the unprivileged people in society.
In today’s world, the persisting inequality and discrimination in all standards of life have isolated a particular group of people in our society who are weak and helpless and do not have the strength to support themselves or their families. These unprivileged people belong to lower class family backgrounds and generally have no choice but struggle all their lives to fulfill their basic needs.
These are the people who would starve for several days and helplessly suffer from the intolerable pain of hunger, their children would be destined to drop out from schools at the early age and get indulged in child labor. They would not have proper access to healthcare and live with deteriorated health conditions. These are the people whoeither have no income source or their jobs aren’t well paid enough to support the entire family.
The Borgen Projecthad published a report in 2017 shedding light on the prevailing inequality of income in the Australian society.
According to this report, Every 1 person in the top 20% of people earning a fortune has 70 times more income than someone in the bottom 20% who earn meager wages or absolutely nothing. This huge economic inequality gap in Australia is increasing day by day contributing to the rising of poverty rates in the country.
Young Australians belonging to the age group of 15-24 years are the most likely to be unemployed. The youth unemployment rate twice rates of the overall unemployment rate in the country.
The Borgen project has also highlighted the homelessness situation in the country where every 1 out of the 4 Australian citizens have to apply for homelessness services to get a safe and comfortable shelter for their kids and families.
Charitable organizations in the country are working with the motto to uplift the underserved population from their miserable lives. These organizations are working to ensure the well being of the unfortunate people by advocating for their rights and needs.
The charitable organizations are focused on their goals to alleviate issues like poverty, illiteracy, unemployment, children health and malnutrition, homelessness, women empowerment etc. However, charitable organizations need to be backed up by the public and should be supported financially by the civilians because these organizations aren’t allowed to generate profit.
We expect the charitable organizations to bring a change in our society and take all the responsibilities in the servitude of humanity but forget that every organization whether it’s for-profit or nonprofit requires proper resources, equipment, and manual workforce to implement their charitable projects. This is why charitable organizations are left with no choice but rely on public funding to continue their work for the best interest of the society and its people.
Every donation is a stepping stone towards a positive change in our society. Let us donate to the deserving organizations that are working sincerely to serve humanity and take a step forward to become human.

Where Is the Problem?
More than 70 million people in Pakistan are living below the poverty line due to which they are unable to undergo proper health treatment if they experience any disease. Estimated amount of surgery backlog in Pakistan is in millions every year.
- There are not many health insurance plans for underprivileged community. They have to pay out of pocket if they need any medical treatment but due to the limited or no resources, majority is unable to undergo surgical treatment.
- Beyond the cost of the surgical procedure, they might have to pay for pre and post-operative expenses which includes medical tests, medications, hospital stay and other expenses. It is almost impossible for someone who earns less than $2 a day to pay hefty amount for medical relief.
- There is lack of advanced medical facilities and medical professionals due to which lower middle class families are unable to avail treatment facilities.
- There are a limited number of beds in hospitals but the number of patients visiting these hospitals is a lot more.
- Every second patient including a child is put on a long waiting list and during the waiting period, the patient’s health further deteriorates. In most of the cases, patients expire until their turn comes.
- There is no advanced healthcare services in slums due to which majority of people have to rely on quacks in their areas.
- Private hospitals are out of reach for deprived community due to the high costs of consultation fees and surgical procedure.
- Committed to Provide Free Surgeries to Those Who Cannot Afford

6 – Young Life Australia
Young Life Australia is in sixth position in our List of top 5 Charity Organizations in Australia. It is both a community and a charity, an organism and not just an organisation. They are not a social welfare group, an early-intervention team or a reform service. They sometimes get calls from people trying to find this kind of help, but the strength of Young Life is in relational outreach- in which trust is developed and issues are indeed explored- they are not targeted specifically at “troubled” teens.
Though they are connected to plenty of struggling or hurting young people, they usually build a relationship with them through meeting them in their school or local hangout, not through referral. They can’t fix messed-up young people, but they can be supportive, compassionate leaders who come alongside ; aim to bring them hope and challenge them to choose well for their futures.
What they do?
Young Life Australia aims to bring about personal growth and positive outcomes in young people.
They seek to instill a sense of purpose and values in teenagers through instigating meaningful relationships with adult role models.
They are not a boot-camp or a behaviour modification program, in case you’ve come looking for that. They are simply local leaders coming alongside young people in our community, whatever their journey.
In many ways they’re like a coach with support staff, and their team members are often not that much older than the teens they positively interact with.
Young Life has a team of specialist field staffers and volunteers, committed group leaders and energetic helpers, all screened, resourced, and trained in youth focussed leadership, counselling, and mentor roles.
They build self-esteem and confidence in teenagers, and provide practical advice as well as pastoral care, without judgement, in much the same way a School Chaplain might. In fact, a growing number of our YLA area leaders are School Chaplains as well.
Their people are highly motivated and thoroughly equipped to cope with just about any interaction situation. Someone is always available to help, guide, tutor, or simply just listen to the teenagers that they support. Any time of the day or night.
Feeling sympathy, generosity, and kindness in your heart but not expressing it through concrete act is like wrapping a beautiful present and not giving it.
Every one of us is intact in our busy hectic lives, spending our entire life to build our careers and fulfilling our duties towards our parents, spouse, and children. Amidst all these, we tend to forget that we have one more duty which is our duty towards humanity.
We have to stop for a moment and take some time out from our busy schedules to meet, to love and to share the goodness of life with the unprivileged people. Our privileges will multiply when we generously share a little amount of our wealth with them.
We can donate to the charitableorganizationsand encourage our family and friends to do the same from their monthly salaries and income to support the organizations that are working to provide humaneservicesto help the needy ones to overcome their difficulties.
Though it is the duty of the government to ensure equal rights for all in various sectors like employment, housing, healthcare etc but the government can do a little for its people because it has to abide by laws, rules and administrative restrictions and go through complicated procedures like structural bureaucratic checks and balancesto get approval for their projects. This cripples the entire system making government welfare projects ineffective and slow.
The government also has to counteract the pressures from their opponent forces and tend to waste a lot of time and manual workforce to establish agendas that hugely compromise onissues like public health and welfare.
Most of the time the government cannot resolve the public issues because they are indulged into planning strategies to combat their opponent parties and win a majority in the parliamentary elections.
Charitable organizations are fulfilling this gap by making appropriate decisions on time and implementing welfare projects for the sake of the public interest as fast as possible.
Charitable organizations value life. These organizations have witnessed the sufferings of the underserved population .. Wereally need to share and get indulged in compassionate work for the society through caring, lightheartedness, and love and relieve the pain of the unprivileged ones.
Let us create and resonate the ripples of humanity. Let us donate to share the abundance of joy and happiness for each other.
