Transparent Hands, in partnership with Rafhan Maize Products, is going to arrange a  free medical camp in Salar with food distribution program, and preventive healthcare session for the needy people of Chiniot. The free medical camp will be held in Salar, Chiniot. Our medical team, which included doctors, nurses, and pharmacists will provide a wide range of free healthcare services to deserving patients. They will  receive the following:

Challenges

Chiniot is situated in the center of Punjab province on the bank of the river Punjab in the Faislabad division. The current population of Chiniot is around about 0.5 million. Due to urbanization, high road traffic, and population growth, Chiniot is facing a high number of noise, air, and water-related health problems such as throat infections, seasonal allergies, coughing, asthma, ear pain, gastric diseases, blood pressure, kidney pain, respiratory diseases, and migraines

Our Solution 

Transparent Hands plans to arrange a free medical camp in Salar with preventive healthcare session for deserving patients residing in Salar, Chiniot. The doctors and specialists will provide free consultations, medicines, and the aforementioned diagnostic tests. The patients who need surgeries or other medical treatment will be registered with Transparent Hands and referred to one of our panel hospitals. 300 Deserving People Benefited From Our Food Distribution Program 

Under our food distribution program, our team handed out food packages to needy people in Punjab. Each food pack contained all the essentials a family needs to survive. Around 300 people in Salar, Chiniot, benefited from this program in September 2022. 

Most Common Diseases

The patients were diagnosed with various health problems such as throat infection, seasonal allergies, coughing, asthma, ear pain, gastric diseases, cardiac diseases, liver issues, diabetes, blood pressure, kidney pain, respiratory diseases, gynecological problems, and body pains. Three surgical cases were also found during the medical camp in Salar, Chiniot.

Preventive Healthcare Session

A female doctor held a preventive healthcare session for all people at the medical camp. The doctor emphasized the importance of diabetes prevention and management. She explained that along with diet and medicines, physical activity also plays an important role in diabetes management.

Our medical camp team consisted of a total of 18 members, including one supervisor, 3 doctors (2 males and 1 female), two pharmacists, two lab technicians, one female staff nurse, two patient registrars, one photographer, and six crew workers.
