For the last two years, Muhammad Iqbal has been suffering from B-Cell Lymphoma. Simply described, B-cell lymphomas are types of lymphoma affecting B cells. Lymphomas are “blood cancers” in the lymph nodes. The news of Iqbal’s cancer played havoc with everyone’s emotions. It changed the entire course of Muhammad Iqbal’s life.
In order to treat this condition, Muhammad Iqbal has to undergo chemotherapy. Chemotherapy is a drug treatment that uses chemical agents to kill fast-growing cells in your body. Chemotherapy is most often used to treat cancer since cancer cells grow and multiply much more quickly than most cells in the body.
“When we got to know about father’s life-threatening illness, the entire family was engulfed in sadness and distress for days. It has been a year and we are still struggling to come to terms with it. Our minds are permanently occupied with fear and worry. We have nowhere to go.”
Unfortunately, Muhammad Iqbal does not have the means to arrange for his chemotherapy. At first, he was having his chemotherapy sessions at a private hospital but now, he has exhausted his resources after mere three sessions. He works as an auto driver and hardly earns PKR 20,000 per month. With a family of seven to raise, it has become impossible for him to make ends meet.
Therefore, as a last resort, Muhammad Iqbal has requested Transparent Hands for help. We are rooting for Iqbal to win his battle against cancer. But, it won’t be possible without your help. Please donate for Iqbal’s chemotherapy as much as you can.

Muhammad Iqbal's Story
Muhammad Iqbal, a 57-year-old resident of Gujranwala, was diagnosed with B-Cell Lymphoma. The doctor advised him to undergo Chemotherapy to eradicate his tumor completely. Muhammad Iqbal had his first three cycles of treatment in a public hospital under his Insaf card but his card balance became nil and he could not afford the further procedures. He came to us for help and to get his treatment completed. His three cycles of chemotherapy were done with the help of Transparent Hands at Life hospital, Lahore, during the period of May to June 2021 by Dr. Imtiaz Randhawa. He had a good recovery after the chemotherapy sessions and is healing gradually.
