Empower Nadeem with Ankle Surgery

Muhammad Nadeem Nazir's Story
For the past three years, 40-year-old Muhammad Nadeem Nazir from Khanewal has been living with constant pain and swelling in his right foot. Each step he takes is filled with discomfort, and bending his foot has become a significant struggle. Once an active man, Nadeem now finds it difficult to perform even the simplest daily tasks. Concerned about his worsening condition, he finally consulted a doctor. After thorough tests and an X-ray, the doctor diagnosed him with a Tendoachilles rupture and advised repair of the right Achilles Tendon. However, Nadeem is unable to pay for his surgery.
Nadeem’s work as a railway employee has become increasingly challenging, as standing for long hours and moving around causes unbearable pain. If his condition is left untreated, it may lead to scar tissue development, which can cause reduced mobility and further complications.
Nadeem lives in a railway quarter with his wife and six children. With six young children who are still studying, the financial burden on his shoulders is already immense. Their educational expenses alone amount to PKR 10,000 per month, and the family is struggling under a heavy loan of PKR 400,000. Nadeem earns just PKR 40,000 per month, which is insufficient to make ends meet. During this time of need, Nadeem contacted Transparent Hands and asked for help.
With a heavy heart, Nadeem shared his fears as follows:
“I have spent years bearing this pain, hoping it would get better. But now, I can barely walk and work properly. I just want to get rid of this condition. Please help me get this surgery so I can stand on my feet again and have a healthy life.”
Nadeem’s future depends on your generosity. With your support, he can receive the treatment that will enable him to regain his mobility and continue supporting his family. Let’s join hands to ease his pain and restore his ability to walk.
Come forward and give Nadeem a chance to stand and walk without pain.

Muhammad Nadeem Nazir's Story
Muhammad Nadeem Nazir, a 40-year-old man from Khanewal, had been living with pain and swelling in his right foot for three years. Each step he took was burdened with discomfort, and bending his foot had become nearly impossible. He struggled to perform even simple tasks, relying heavily on others for help. Deeply concerned about his worsening condition, Nadeem finally decided to consult a doctor. After conducting thorough tests and an X-ray, the doctor diagnosed him with a Tendoachilles rupture, a severe injury involving a tear of the Achilles tendon that made every movement difficult. The only way to restore proper function to his foot and prevent long-term disability was to undergo surgical repair of the right Achilles tendon.
However, the cost of this essential surgery was far beyond what Nadeem could afford. He lives in a modest railway quarter with his wife and six school-going children. Earning just PKR 40,000 per month, Nadeem struggles to cover even their basic needs, making the idea of paying for surgery seem impossible. In desperate need of help, Nadeem reached out to Transparent Hands. Recognizing the severity of his condition, we promptly registered his case.
On May 20, 2025, Nadeem was admitted to the Pakistan Society for Rehabilitation of Differently Abled (PSRD) in Lahore. The following day, on May 21, 2025, Dr. Saleem Bashir successfully performed the surgery to repair his right Achilles tendon. After post-operative care, Nadeem was discharged with new hope for a pain-free life on May 22, 2025.
With immense gratitude, Nadeem said:
“Before surgery, I faced immense difficulty in carrying out daily tasks. I can now walk without pain and look after my family again. Thank you for giving me this chance to live normally once more. We will always remember your generosity.”
Nadeem can now move forward with strength and comfort, living a healthy life and caring for his family without constant pain. This change in his life was made possible by your generosity. His family is thankful to you for supporting his treatment.
