Aashiq Ali's Story

Aashiq Ali, a 54-year-old man from Hyderabad, has been living with flank pain for the past three years. The pain has become so severe that it is now accompanied by frequent vomiting, making it nearly impossible for him to carry out his daily activities. Worried about his condition, Aashiq Ali finally went to a hospital for a check-up. After a thorough medical evaluation, the doctor diagnosed him with a Right Pelvi-Ureteric Junction (PUJ) Stone. It refers to a kidney stone that obstructs the flow of urine at the pelvi-ureteric junction of the kidney. To remove the stone and relieve his suffering, the doctor has advised surgery (Rt. URS + Lithoclasty + DJ Stent). However, Aashiq can’t afford this surgery.

If Aashiq does not undergo surgery for PUJ stone, he may face complications such as persistent pain, recurrent urinary infections, and potential kidney damage.

Aashiq Ali works as a laborer, earning only 18,000 PKR per month—barely enough to cover his household expenses. He lives in a modest mud house with his wife and two daughters. Both of his daughters are studying in a government school, and he is determined to provide them with an education despite his financial struggles. Aashiq’s daily life has become a constant battle with pain, making it difficult for him to work and support his family. With no other option left, Aashiq Ali has turned to Transparent Hands in the hope of finding support.

Aashiq said in despair:

“I have suffered from this pain for years, but now, it has become unbearable. I want to recover and continue providing for my family, but I cannot afford the surgery on my own. I request you to help me undergo the much-needed surgery.”

Aashiq Ali relies on your generosity. Your support can heal him and enable him to live a healthy, and pain-free life. His health is worsening day by day and only this surgery can alleviate his pain and discomfort.

Aashiq Ali's Story

Aashiq Ali, a 54-year-old man from Hyderabad, had been experiencing flank pain for the past three years. What began as mild discomfort gradually turned into persistent pain along with frequent episodes of vomiting. The condition worsened over time, making it nearly impossible for him to perform his daily tasks or work regularly. Concerned for his health and future, Aashiq finally visited a local hospital for a proper check-up. Following a detailed medical evaluation and diagnostic imaging, the doctor diagnosed him with a Right Pelvi-Ureteric Junction (PUJ) Stone. To relieve his suffering and restore kidney function, the doctor recommended a surgical procedure (Rt. URS + Lithoclasty + DJ Stent). Unfortunately, the cost of this surgery was far beyond Aashiq’s financial capacity.

Aashiq lives in a modest mud house in Hyderabad with his wife and two daughters. He earns only PKR 18,000 per month through daily-wage labor. Despite his financial constraints, he is determined to educate his daughters, who attend a government school. With his income barely covering essentials like food and utilities, affording the cost of surgery was out of the question. During their search for help, Aashiq Ali reached out to Transparent Hands. Understanding the nature of his situation, Transparent Hands promptly registered his case.

On April 23, 2025, Aashiq was admitted to Isra University Hospital in Hyderabad. The next day, his surgery was successfully performed by Dr. Abdul Samad. After receiving post-operative care and medications, Aashiq was discharged in stable condition on April 25, 2025.

Expressing his gratitude, Aashiq said:

“I was living in constant pain and couldn’t work properly. This surgery brought me back to life. I can now live a pain-free life and take care of my family. Thank you for helping me when I had no other hope left.”

After the surgery, Aashiq has regained his strength and resumed his daily routine. He now lives free from the pain that once controlled his life.

Aashiq and his family are deeply thankful for giving him the chance to heal and move forward.
