Bilal Yousaf 's Story

21-year-old Bilal Yousaf, a student of 9th grade, started experiencing severe headache. In the six months that followed, his condition deteriorated to an extent that he faced difficulty in speaking, standing and walking. After detailed examination and work up, he was diagnosed with brain tumor (diffuse gliomatous lesion) and was advised radiotherapy by his oncologist. He was initially managed in the Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Oncology (INMOL) under the supervision of Dr. Farrah. His radiotherapy started from 12-June-2020 and he was getting radiations four days in a week. Bilal had his whole life ahead of him and looked forward to recovering and resuming his studies. But, his ailment worsened during the course of radiotherapy sessions. He could not put up a fight with the deadly condition anymore and passed away on 1-July-2020.
