Fazilat Ishaq's Story

Fibroadenoma becomes noticeable as a lump in the women’s breast. Fazilat Ishaq is one of the victims of this disease. She lives in a village of Kasur. She has two sisters and five brothers. Brothers are too young to earn and father works as a laborer on a daily wage. Four years ago, she was detected with a fibroadenoma in her left breast and she was not aware of this disease. Sometimes suddenly pain started around her breast. With the passage of time, her lump started converting to Cyst. She had few checkups in govt. Hospital but the result was unsatisfactory and the doctor suggested her surgery. Due to financial problem, her family is unable to pay any amount for her surgery. Her life has been a constant loop of hope and despair. She had been a victim of a horrendous disease named Fibroadenoma and she had no one to help her in fighting with her condition.
