Amna is in dire need of funds to support her Gynae surgery
Amna Khalil's Story
A little help from you can heal the sufferings of this poor young lady.
Amna Khalil is a 36 years old woman from a small town of Lahore. She lives with her husband, two younger school going daughters and mother in law. Amna helps her mother-in-law in household chores and takes care of the family. She is usually busy looking after her two daughters and husband.
Since 2009, Amna has been dealing with painful ovarian cysts. These cysts have made her life really difficult. With such a painful condition, it’s becoming hard for her to do household chores and take care of her daughters.
Amna got operated around 8 years ago at a local hospital but unfortunately cysts were formed again and she had to undergo another surgery three years ago for the second time but she got no relief. Her ovarian cysts reappeared again causing severe pain in her abdomen and irregular menstrual cycle with excessive bleeding. Doctor put her on regular medication for relief for 3 months but it didn’t improve Amna’s condition at all.
Amna was advised to undergo surgery for the third time. But she had no money left as her husband is working as a sales man and hardly earns around 15,000 rupees a month. He already took loan for Amna’s treatment but now he doesn’t have any savings left which he can spend on her treatment this time.
Luckily, when Amna and her husband were told about Transparent Hands through someone, they were incredibly relieved. She got proper checkup done and was given surgery date. Doctor is going to perform Laparotomy + Myomectomy which will remove her cysts and hopefully this time, surgery will be successful and give permanent relief to Amna. But it won’t be possible without your immense support.
Please donate any amount you can for Amna’s surgery so that she can get rid of the symptoms that she is experiencing for last 8 years. Give your zakat/charity/donation to this wonderful woman whose only wish is to get healed and start living happily with her family.
