Asif Jah Needs Cholecystectomy to Overcome Pain
Asif Jah's Story
Asif Jah, a 41-year-old man from Haripur, has been suffering from acute upper abdominal pain for three months. His condition is accompanied by nausea, vomiting, and intolerance to fatty meals. Due to persistent pain and discomfort, daily chores are challenging for him, and he faces difficulty performing at his workplace efficiently. He consulted a surgeon at a local hospital. After some diagnostic tests and an ultrasound scan, Asif was diagnosed with Cholelithiasis/Gallstones. It is a condition in which stones made of cholesterol and bilirubin are formed in the gallbladder.
The doctor has advised cholecystectomy, a surgery to remove the gladder. However, he cannot afford to pay for this essential surgery. He lives in a two-room brick house with a large family. Asif works as a mobile phone technician and his brothers are daily wage laborers. Their combined monthly income of PKR 50,000 is insufficient to cover the utility bills, groceries, and living expenses of the whole family. While facing such financial hardships, the significant cost of the surgery is beyond Asif’s reach.
A ray of hope arose when a neighbor told them about Transparent Hands. Asif’s family contacted us and asked for help. We’ve registered his case.
Asif Jah expressed his plea as follows:
“Every day is a struggle for me. I want to get rid of this pain as it has limited my ability to perform many tasks. I feel extreme discomfort. I feel helpless because I don’t have enough money to pay for the surgery. Please help me overcome this condition.”
A successful cholecystectomy surgery will allow Asif to have a healthy future and improve his quality of life. He can be a pillar of strength for his family again. This is where Asif Jah needs your support. Your contribution will bring him closer to living a pain-free and healthy life. Let’s change Asif’s life now.
