Bring Relief to Khan Through Hernioplasty

Khan Muhammad's Story
Khan Muhammad, a 71-year-old man from Karachi, has been suffering from a painful and growing lump in his left groin for the past six months. Initially, the swelling caused discomfort, but now the pain has become constant and is affecting his ability to walk and work. As a daily wage painter, his physical strength is his livelihood, but his worsening condition has started to interfere with even basic movements. Concerned about the increasing pain, Khan Muhammad consulted a doctor. After a thorough examination and some tests, he was diagnosed with a left-sided Inguinal Hernia.
It occurs when a tissue protrudes through a weak spot in the abdominal muscle. The doctor has advised hernioplasty to treat the condition and relieve his pain. However, he can’t afford his surgery.
If left untreated, an inguinal hernia can lead to severe complications, including obstruction, strangulation of the intestine, and long-term disability. Given his age and physical condition, timely surgery is important to avoid life-threatening outcomes.
Khan lives alone in a modest home. His two sons live separately and are unable to provide him with financial assistance. He earns around PKR 20,000 per month as a daily wage painter. His income is barely enough to cover his utility bills of PKR 3,000, food, and other basic needs. With no savings or external support, affording the cost of surgery is beyond his means. During this difficult time, he has reached out to Transparent Hands, hoping for a source of relief and recovery.
“The pain is getting worse day by day. I just want to get better so I can continue working and living independently. I am old now, but I still want to live with dignity. Kindly help me undergo this surgery, ” said Khan Muhammad with tears in his eyes.
This surgery would ensure that he continues to live with dignity and manage his routine without pain. He needs your help now more than ever.
Give charity to bring him relief from pain. Your generosity will change his life.
