Change Muhammad Madni’s Life With TOF Surgery
Muhammad Madni's Story
Muhammad Madni, a 6-year-old little boy from Dera Ghazi Khan, has been experiencing shortness of breath and chest pain since birth. Concerned about his condition, his family consulted a cardiac surgeon, who diagnosed him with TOF (Tetralogy of Fallot). TOF is a combination of four congenital heart defects that occur together. To save Madni’s little heart the doctor advised open-heart surgery for total correction.
Muhammad Madni is unable to gain weight like other children of his age. His parents are heartbroken to see his condition and want their son to undergo the surgery and live a healthy life. Another challenge faced by Madni is his struggle to focus on his studies due to his persistent cardiac symptoms.
The cost of his life-altering cardiac surgery is overwhelming for his family. Living in a 2-marla rented mud house, Madni’s father works as a daily wager and earns PKR 15000 monthly. With his meager monthly income, he hardly covers the utility bills amounting to PKR 5000, and the monthly rent which amounts to PKR 2500. To make matters worse, Madni’s family is burdened with a loan of PKR 450,000. The family’s financial situation left them with no other option to cover the cost of his expensive surgery.
Madni’s father expressed his heartfelt plea as follows:
“I can’t see my son struggling to breathe properly and his inability to play like other kids. I want him to prosper in life without any hindrances. I appeal to you for your generous donations to save my son’s life.”
Madni’s family contacted Transparent Hands. We have registered his case and need your donations to save his little heart. Your generosity will enable him to breathe properly and enjoy the joys of childhood without limitations. Let’s secure Madni’s future. Donate now to give him a second chance at life and fill his life with happiness.

Muhammad Madni's Story
Muhammad Madni, a 6-year-old boy from Dera Ghazi Khan, had been suffering from breathlessness and chest discomfort since birth. His lips and fingertips also turned blue frequently. Unlike other children of his age, Madni couldn't enjoy outdoor games. His parents were heartbroken by his suffering. They consulted a doctor, who diagnosed Madni with Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF). The doctor recommended open-heart surgery for total correction. However, Madni’s family couldn’t afford to pay for his surgery.
Living in a small rented mud house, the family barely managed their basic needs. Madni’s father, a daily wage laborer, worked hard to support his family of seven. His monthly income of PKR 15,000 per month was insufficient to even cover their household expenses. Managing to pay for this expensive surgery was impossible for them. Desperate to save their son, his parents reached out to Transparent Hands for assistance. After reviewing Madni’s case, we took swift action to ensure he received the care he needed.
On 3rd November 2024, Madni was admitted to the Ittefaq Hospital in Lahore. The surgery was scheduled for 4th November 2024. Dr. Asim Khan skillfully performed his surgery, repairing the defects in Madni’s heart and restoring normal blood flow. Following a successful procedure, Madni remained under observation for seven days, receiving post-operative care. On 12th November 2024, he was discharged in stable condition, bringing relief and hope to his family.
Madni’s parents expressed their heartfelt gratitude as follows:
“Our son suffered so much in his young life. Seeing him unable to breathe properly or run around like other children broke our hearts. Through your support, he is recovering now. Words cannot express how thankful we are for this second chance you’ve given him.”
Today, Madni is regaining his strength and enjoying the simple joys of childhood that were once out of reach. He can play, attend school, and dream of a bright future. This change was made possible by your generous donations. Madni’s family deeply appreciates your kindness and thanks the Pakistan Children’s Heart Foundation for supporting this life-saving mission. You changed his life forever!
