Donate Afnan Ahmed for his Open Heart Surgery
Afnan Ahmed's Story
“Can we lend a moment to humanity?”
Surgery of a 9 month old infant sounds risky right? Here is the case of a 9 months old Afnan Ahmed.
Afnan has a hole in his heart, since his birth. He experiences chest tightening with short of breath and other severe symptoms like cold sweats and dizziness. Doctors have advised him for an immediate open heart surgery. For which they visited many government hospitals with no actual relief. On the other hand, private hospitals are very expensive to afford.
His father is an office boy in state-life who earns 15,000 PKR a month. He has total 6 family members in a joint family –they all live in a house constructed in 10 Marlas.
“Poverty is not a choice. I am poor and I cannot do anything about it. I struggle a lot yet could not afford my infant’s open heart surgery” –Afnan’s father shared with TH.
Amid this whole struggle they were referred to Transparent Hands by a doctor at Ittefaq Hospital. Upon visiting our office Afnan was examined and his case was registered straight away. His surgery awaits your donations. So donate as soon as possible and make his surgery into a successful one as soon as possible.
