Donate Ahmed Musa for his Anorectoplasty
Ahmed Musa's Story
“Ahmed is my only son and to see him in constant pain makes me very sad. He was born with a birth defect and needs expensive surgery to become normal. I am trying my best to provide for my family but I cannot afford the medical treatment that my beloved son needs. Please help my son to recover so that I can watch him grow into a strong and responsible man.” – requested Ahmed’s father.
Ahmed is 1.4 years old boy who was born with a birth defect – Anorectal Malformation, which means that his anus and rectum did not develop properly. He underwent his first surgery when he was only 2 days old in a local hospital where his colostomy was done. Doctor advised another surgery for permanent relief but this family cannot afford the surgical expenses.
They contacted the same hospital for his second surgery but they gave them waiting time of few years. Ahmed cannot wait for even few months as his condition is adversely affecting his life. It is difficult for his mother to maintain his hygiene because of the stool bag attached to his body.
Ahmed lives with his sister, parents and grandparents in a rented house in Lahore. This poor family shifted here temporarily, only to get him operated. They have spent all their savings on his treatment but they are in no position to afford his surgical expenses. Ahmed’s father works in a factory as laborer and hardly earns 15000 PKR a month.
When Ahmed’s father learned about Transparent Hands, he requested for help. He is now scheduled for Posterior Sagittal Anorectoplasty (PSARP) to restore defecation through normal passage.
Please come forward and donate for Ahmed’s surgery. Our kind contributions can recover this boy and his family can go back to their home in Peshawar and resume a happy life together.
