Awais Khan is a 4 years old child who lives in a rented house of one bedroom with his parents and younger brother. His two aunts and grandmother also live with them. This family hardly manages to make both ends meet. There are days when they have to sleep with empty stomach. In such circumstances, Awais’s health is deteriorating with each passing day.

Around a month ago, Awais was diagnosed with Rectal Polyp (fleshy growth on the lining of the rectum). Doctor recommended his parents to get Awais operated as this is the only solution to get rid of his disease. His parents don’t have enough money to get him operated. They contacted various local hospitals but they are giving surgery date of 6 months or later. Awais cannot wait for that long. He experiences lump and massive bleeding from his back passage. Due to his disease, he is getting weaker with each passing day. His parents are worried for his excessive blood loss. He is unable to play or even walk actively. When they came to know about Transparent Hands, they were finally relieved to know that their child can undergo surgical treatment for free.

Awais Khan's Story

Awais Khan 4 years old boy was suffering from a lump and bleeding from his back passage for many months. He was examined and diagnosed as a case of Rectal Polyp and was advised surgery to remove it. His surgery was done in Akram Medical Complex by Dr. Naveed Haider on 06-09-18. His polyp was removed completely. He stayed in hospital for one day after his surgery and was discharged in perfect health.
