Bashir Ahmad is a 51 years old man who lives in a small house granted by Govt. on temporary basis in Khanewal with his wife and 4 children. Bashir works as a labourer and hardly earns around 350 rupees a day. In such meager income, he struggles to pay school fees of his children and other household expenses.

Bashir is suffering from swelling and pain in his right inguinal area from last one and half year. In start, he ignored the symptoms but now his pain is growing with each passing day. He went to various hospitals for treatment but doctor has recommended him to undergo surgery to fix the hernia. Bashir doesn’t have enough money to undergo operation from any hospital. He contacted many institutes for funding but didn’t get any positive response from anywhere. He is unable to work for last two months due to pain, discomfort and swelling. He finally came to know about Transparent Hands through a hospital.
