Dorah Bibi is a 70 years old woman suffering from Triple Vessel Disease for the last 5 months. She is experiencing terrible symptoms like nausea, back ache, jaw pain and vomiting. She has difficulty in breathing along with sharp pain in her chest.

Her heart has become so weak that it cannot pump the required amount of blood needed for her body. The decreased blood flow has almost turned her pale and she feels severe pain in her left arm all the time.

Initially, doctors gave her medication but after she didn’t get any relief, they advised for an Angiography and told her family that she needs an immediate operation.

Her poor family couldn’t afford the treatment expenses so they rushed to a local heart hospital for help. Unfortunately, the hospital was already overcrowded with patients so they cannot give any date for her surgery until a few years.

Luckily, they came to know about Transparent Hands from someone and they visited this organization for help.

Dorah Bibi is living with her ill husband, 2 sons, and their extended family in a small house. Her sons are rickshaw drivers and earn only 15,000 PKR per month. Within this meager income, they cannot afford their mother’s expensive surgery.

Dorah Bibi is scheduled for her open heart surgery in a few days at National Hospital, Lahore. Our donation for this elderly woman can give her a comfortable life that she deserves.
