Afzaal is struggling with multiple heart defects that plague his daily activities. His physical growth is slow, and his energy levels are low, making it difficult for him to complete routine tasks. Even though he has been through a lot, he is still hopeful that he will get better. However, his future looks uncertain without a cardiac surgery. The cost of the surgery is beyond the affordability of his family. We urge you to donate for Afzaal’s Open-Heart Surgery and save his ailing heart. 

Muhammad Afzaal, a 22-year-old resident of Lahore, has been suffering from cyanosis, dyspnea, and repeated episodes of chest pain. His parents noticed his deteriorating health at the age of five. They took him to the local hospital. After running some diagnostic tests, the cardiologist diagnosed him with multiple heart defects, including Double Outlet Right Ventricle (DORV),  Large Inlet-Outlet Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD), and Right Ventricular Outflow Tract Obstruction (RVOTO). The doctor advised him to undergo Open-Heart Surgery for Total Correction and Pulmonary Valve Replacement. At the time, he was not fit for the surgery and was advised to take some medications. Recently, he revisited the hospital, and the cardiac surgeon advised him to undergo surgery. 

He lives with his parents and two siblings in a small house. His father is the only breadwinner for the family and earns PKR 40,000 monthly as a laborer. The cost of this life-saving heart surgery was far beyond the means of Afzaal’s family, who were already struggling to make ends meet. His father said in a depressed tone:

“For the past many years, I have watched my son struggle with multiple heart defects, and every day is a constant battle for him. I am pleading with you to come forward and help us give Afzaal a brighter future.”

One of their relatives told them about Transparent Hands, and we have registered Afzaal’s case. We have promised his parents that we will provide him with the best treatment.
