Ever since Ahmad Ehsan was born, he fell prey to frequent fevers. Moreover, Ahmad Ehsan also suffered from sore throat, pain, and congestion. At first, his parents did not pay any heed to it. However, gradually, his condition worsened. His mother took him to a local clinic where the doctor tried to treat him with medicines. Ahmad wilfully obliged to the medication, but it went in vain. After that, his mother took him to the hospital, where the doctor diagnosed him with chronic tonsillitis. Chronic tonsillitis is a persistent infection of the tonsils that often results in recurrent fevers and sore throats.

Consequently, the doctor has advised Ahmad Ehsan to undergo a Tonsillectomy. Tonsillectomy is a surgical procedure in which the doctor permanently removes the tonsils. Unfortunately, Ahmad Ehsan’s parents cannot afford the hefty cost of a Tonsillectomy. Ahsan’s father works as a laborer on daily wages, and he hardly manages to earn PKR 20000 per month. With a family of five to raise in this income, it is almost impossible for him to save for Ahmad’s surgery. Previously, Transparent Hands arranged for Ahmad’s open-heart surgery as well. Now, we wish to help Ahmad in every way he needs. Ahmad told us:

 “The worst thing about this disease is not pain and discomfort. It is that some days the pain and discomfort are a hurdle in my school activities. I do not like to be absent.”
