At the mere age of one year, Muhammad Ahmed has already suffered more than most people do in a lifetime. He needs open-heart surgery to live longer. Therefore, we request you to donate for Ahmed’s open-heart surgery as much as you can. Please donate generously.
Since birth, Muhammad Ahmed has been suffering from shortness of breath, nausea, and vomiting. He was also unable to gain weight. His parents took him to a hospital. After running some diagnostic tests and thorough evaluation, the doctor diagnosed him with complex heart conditions, including Transposition of the Great Arteries (TGA), Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA), and Atrial Septal Defect (ASD).
The doctor told Muhammad Ahmed’s parents that he needs to undergo Open-Heart Surgery and Senning procedure. Unfortunately, Ahmed’s parents cannot afford the hefty cost of the open-heart surgery. His father is a laborer and hardly manages to earn PKR 30,000 per month. He told us:
“I wish no parent has to experience what my wife and I have been going through each day. We are in extreme agony because we cannot afford to provide our son with the life-saving treatment he needs. If you are reading this, please help us.”

Muhammad Ahmed's Story
Fourteen-month-old Ahmed, a resident of Faisalabad, had been suffering from dyspnea and cyanosis since birth. Upon consultation, he was diagnosed with Transposition of the Great Arteries, Intact Ventricular Septum, and Left Ventricular Regression. The cardiac surgeon advised Atrial Switch Senning. He was admitted to Ittefaq Hospital, Lahore, where his operation was performed by Dr. Asim Khan on 18-08-2022. He was discharged after five days of stay in the hospital. Pakistan’s Children’s Heart Foundation supported this surgery. He is in stable condition now.
