Amna Safdar's Story
Amber, a sweet and innocent child, requires cochlear implant surgery that can significantly transform her life. Without this surgery, her capacity to communicate and learn will be severely hampered, depriving her of the joy of hearing the world around her. It would be heart-wrenching for her family to see her living a life of silence. We implore you to donate for Amber’s Cochlear Implant Surgery to give her a chance to thrive in life.
Four-year-old Amber, a resident of Muzaffargarh, whose world has been shrouded in silence ever since she was born with congenital sensorineural hearing loss. Her parents were heartbroken when they noticed that she wasn’t responding to their voices at the tender age of one. At the local hospital, she was diagnosed with sensorineural deafness. The doctor advised her to undergo cochlear implant surgery. It is a surgical procedure that involves implanting a small electronic device that stimulates the cochlear nerve, allowing Amber to hear the world around her.
She lives in a small house with fourteen family members. Her father is an imam in a mosque in his village and just earns PKR 14,000 monthly. On his limited income, he cannot afford the surgical expenses.
“Every night, I pray for a miracle that will allow my daughter to hear my voice. Your donation can turn that miracle into a reality.”
Her father contacted Transparent Hands to register his daughter’s case. His father is hopeful of securing the funds needed for the surgery. He dreams of seeing Amber’s eyes light up with wonder as she hears her father’s voice for the first time, and he longs to witness her delight as she discovers the beauty of a world full of sounds. We ask you to donate for Amber’s cochlear implant surgery and make a significant difference in her life.
