Muhammad Ashfaq's Story

Before we dive into the gory story of Muhammad Ashfaq’s ailments, it is our request to please donate for Ashfaq’s hip replacement surgery. Please help him walk again.

Six months ago, Muhammad Ashfaq accidentally slipped and suffered from a fall. The fall debilitated his entire body and he suffered from severe pain in his hip joints. At first, he did not pay any heed to it and took painkillers for temporary relief. However, over a few weeks, the pain reached a point of no return. Later, it restricted his ability to walk as well.

Upon consultation, Muhammad Ashfaq was diagnosed with bilateral avascular necrosis (B/L AVN). This AVN is the death of bone tissue secondary to loss of blood supply. The only option to treat this defect was total hip replacement surgery. It is a surgery to replace the damaged hip joint. During the process, the surgeon replaces the old joint with an artificial joint (prosthesis).

The hefty cost of the surgery was beyond Ashfaq’s affordability. Thus, he was registered with Transparent Hands. Transparent Hands arranged for his surgery for free. In the procedure, the orthopedic surgeon replaced his right hip joint with a prosthetic implant.

Now to regain his full mobility Muhammad Ashfaq needs another surgery that will replace his left hip joint. Muhammad Ashfaq has come to Transparent Hands again. He told us:

“Transparent Hands has been very kind to me. They arranged my surgery before. Now, the doctors have told me that in order to regain full mobility, I need to undergo another surgery for my left hip. Please donate to my cause. I will be very grateful for your generosity.”

Your generous help has lessened half of Muhammad Ashfaq’s pain already. Now, please donate for Ashfaq’s surgery and help Ashfaq walk again.
