Life has not been very easy for Badi uz Zaman. Currently, Badi uz Zaman is unable to put weight on his legs without flinching in pain. But, there is still hope. For the last thirteen years, twenty nine years old Badi uz Zaman,a resident of Mardan, has been suffering from bilateral OA of both hip joints. It caused him great pain and discomfort. Later, it restricted his ability to walk as well. Upon consultation, Badi uz Zaman was diagnosed with this condition. 

The only option to treat this damaged joint is total hip replacement surgery. During the process, the surgeon replaces the old joint with an artificial joint (prosthesis). At first, the doctor will perform the surgery on his right hip. While this surgery promises a pain-free life to Badi uz Zaman, it is certainly not an affordable procedure. 

Unfortunately, Badi uz Zaman cannot afford the hefty cost of a hip replacement surgery. Due to his debilitating illness, Badi uz Zaman has been unable to work. He financially relies on assistance. In these circumstances, they are in no position to arrange for Badi uz Zaman’s surgery. Badi uz Zaman told us:

“It has been Thirteen years that I have been taking painkillers for this intense pain. Now, at this point, they have stopped working as well. God knows what will become of this pain.”
