Gul Shameer's Story
Before you proceed to read the details of Gul Shameer’s ailment, please know that your help can relieve his pain. Your donations will help Gul Shameer get the right diagnosis for his pain. Therefore, we request you to please donate for Gul Shameer’s MRI as much as you can.
For the last twelve years, Gul Shameer, a resident of Haripur has been suffering from chronic headaches and backaches. The doctors suspect that it is cranial cervical syndrome (CCS); a complex of symptoms which include disabling intractable migraine headaches, neck pain, concentration and memory problems, visual disturbances, ataxia, and nausea. But, to be sure, Gul Shameer needs an MRI. An MRI scan uses magnets and radio waves to capture images inside your body without invasive measures. The scan allows the doctor to see the soft tissues of the body, like muscles and organs, in addition to the bones. Gul Shameer needs the MRI to get the right diagnosis for his pain. MRI is an expensive test.
Unfortunately, Gul Shameer cannot afford the hefty cost of this test. Gul Shameer is working as a helper at a hotel and only earns PKR 18,000 per month. He has a large family to support. With this meagre income, it is not possible for him to afford his surgery. He told us:
“My last hope to get a scan was a government hospital. But since that hope extinguished, I have been living a life full of dread. Transparent Hands has given me hope, and I am extremely grateful.”
Gul Shameer has registered his case with Transparent Hands. We have assured him that we would arrange his treatment as soon as possible. Now, all we need is your help. Please donate for Gul Shameer’s MRI so he can get on with his normal way of life.
Disclaimer: Transparent Hands makes sure that all the patients get surgery in time. If a patient requires urgent surgery and his/her condition is serious, Transparent Hands conducts the surgery immediately. In the meantime, his/her campaign stays active on the website until we raise the complete funding. The hospitals on our panel have complete trust in us and wait for the payments until the patient's funding is completed.
