Twenty-three years old Hira Iqbal is a mother of two children. Both of these children were delivered through C Section. Hira’s relatives and neighbors arranged for her operations. Currently, Hira Iqbal is pregnant with her third child. To avoid delivery related complications and prevent further deterioration to Hira’s health, the gynecologist has advised Hira to undergo a C section. Without this surgery, Hira and her baby’s life would stay compromised. C section is her only option to prevent any kind of threat to her unborn baby. Stuck in a paradoxical position of hope and despair, Hira Iqbal says:
“When I had to arrange for my last two C sections I was lost too. But, God helped me and I arranged for them through the help of these generous people around me. Now, I am here to ask all of you. Whoever is reading this, I request you all to please donate for my C section. I want to deliver my child into this world safely.”
Hira Iqbal’s husband Farhan Iqbal has a contract job in a hosiery factory in Lahore. He hardly earns PKR 12000 per month. In midst of household expenses and child care, he is unable to afford the hefty cost of a C section. Therefore, at last, Hira Iqbal has registered her case with Transparent Hands. Hira Iqbal's Story
Hira Iqbal, aged 23 is a resident of Khanewal. Due to some pregnancy-related complications, She had her previous two children born via cesarean section. Now when she was expecting for the third time, the doctor advised her surgery again. For this purpose, she was admitted to Abid Hospital where her lower segment Caesarean section (LSCS) was performed by Dr. Sadaf Aqeel on 15.02.2021. Hira Iqbal gave birth to a beautiful and healthy baby boy. She was kept under observation until the doctors were completely satisfied with her progress. Three days later, she was discharged from the hospital in a satisfactory condition. She and her baby, both are doing well.
