Donate for Ismail’s Cardiac Procedures
Muhammad Ismail's Story
Fifty years old Muhammad Ismail is in a lot of pain right now. Your donations can relieve him of his ailments. Therefore, we request you to please donate for Ismail’s cardiac procedures.
Muhammad Ismail hails from a remote area near Rahim Yar Khan. As a person who has lived half a century worth of life, he has many ailments attached to him. A year ago, Muhammad Ismail went through a sudden episode of chest pain. At first, the pain was mild, but it gradually increased. Consequently, Muhammad Ismail consulted a cardiologist at the public hospital. After ECG and ECHO, the cardiologist advised an angiography. Accordingly, Ismail was diagnosed with Ischemic Heart Disease (IHD). The condition refers to a reduced blood flow towards the heart due to the plaque build-up in the arteries. IHD is one of the most common cardiovascular diseases.
To treat this ailment and improve the heart’s efficiency, the doctor has advised Muhammad Ismail to undergo PCI. PCI is a non-surgical procedure that uses a catheter to place a stent to open up narrowed blood vessels in the heart.
While PCI is a simple solution to Muhammad Ismail’s heart problems, the financial limitations are still a barrier in his way. Muhammad Ismail has a government job that pays him PKR 27000 per month. However, Muhammad Ismail supports a large family of eight members. With the rising inflation, all of his salary goes to his children’s education and household expenses. Therefore, he cannot arrange for his surgery.
“A year ago, the doctor told me to get a stent. I could not tell him that I cannot afford it and quietly left the room. A few months ago, I had a stroke which made my condition worse. Now, it is crucial, but I don’t know how will I arrange my treatment” -Muhammad Ismail.
At last, Muhammad Ismail has registered his case with Transparent Hands. We hope that with your kind donations, we will be able to arrange his treatment as soon as possible. Donate for Ismail’s cardiac procedures as much as you can.
Please Note: In certain situations, we proceed with the patient's surgery/medical procedure despite incomplete funding displayed on the website.
