Imagine the discomfort of a seasonal cold and the ways it pulls the plug on your daily routine. You feel dizzy all the time, unable to sleep or work. The entire course of the day gets disrupted. Moreover, sleep doesn’t come as a relief either as you constantly shift sides to find a comfortable position to breathe freely. Unfortunately, 17 years old Junaid Khan has been living with these symptoms for as long as he can remember. Junaid Khan has been suffering from deviated nasal septum (DNS) since he was a mere 7 year old child. DNS is a deviation of the nasal septum from the normal center of the nasal cavity. This causes nose obstruction and blockage of the respiratory tract. Please donate for Junaid Khan’s septoplasty.
To treat Junaid Khan’s horrible condition, the doctor has advised a Septoplasty. A septoplasty is a surgical procedure to straighten the bone and cartilage dividing the space between two nostrils (septum).
The cost of the surgery is beyond his affordability. Junaid’s father, the sole earner of the family works as a driver and hardly earns PKR 13000 per month. Junaid Khan's Story
Junaid Khan, 17 years old, had a deviated nasal septum that resulted because of trauma to the face. The ENT specialist advised a corrective surgery for it. For this purpose, he was admitted in Ahmed Medical Complex and his septoplasty was performed on 26.11.2020 by Dr. Syed Mudassir Shah. He stayed in the hospital for two days and was discharged in a stable condition. Junaid’s deviated septum was fixed.
