Laraib has been experiencing a lot of pain. The doctor has advised her to undergo a CT Scan to determine the exact cause of this pain. However, she cannot pay for it due to financial constraints. We urge you to donate for Laraib’s CT Scan as much as you can.
Laraib Irshad, a 22-years-old resident of Mianwali, was suffering from recurring episodes of intense pain in her right side of abdomen. She went to a local doctor who prescribed a symptomatic treatment to her. However, her pain kept increasing with time. Then she went to a urologist, and after some workup, she was advised to undergo CT KUB for the proper diagnosis of her disease. A CT KUB scan is a computed tomography (CT) scan of the kidneys, ureters, and bladder (KUB). The goal of the scan is to capture images of the urinary system and surrounding tissues from various angles, which includes the region between the superior poles of the kidneys and the pubic symphysis.
However, Laraib Irshad’s family is already facing financial distress. Her father is a security guard and earns only PKR 17,000 per month. In these circumstances, managing the monthly expenses of his family becomes very difficult for him. The cost of Laraib’s treatment has kept him awake for months. He narrated his sorrow in the following words:
“My daughter is in immense pain, but we are unable to provide her with the treatment she needs due to financial constraints. I cannot bear to see my child suffer like this. I hope Transparent Hands will connect with a donor soon. Please help us.”

Laraib, a 22-year-old resident of Mianwali, was suffering from recurring episodes of intense pain in the right side of the abdomen. She went to a local doctor who diagnosed her with renal stones and prescribed symptomatic treatment. However, her pain kept increasing with time. Then Laraib went to a urologist who advised her to undergo CT KUB for the proper diagnosis of her disease. Her CT Scan (KUB) was performed at the Punjab Clinic of Radiology by Dr. Tanveer on 16-08-2022. Her CT KUB results appeared normal. No significant problem was found. She was set free from worries about having stones in her kidney. She was sent back home on the same day with the scan results.
