Malaha’s tale of woes has reduced us to tears. We want to get her happy and healthy as soon as we can. Before you dive into the story of Malaha, please know that you can help her. Therefore, we request you to please donate for Malaha’s open-heart surgery as much as you can. 

Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) with left pulmonary artery stenosis is a narrowing that occurs in the pulmonary artery, a large artery that sends oxygen-poor blood into the lungs to be enriched with oxygen. Malaha was diagnosed with this disease only after a month of being born. Her skin turns blue due to the lack of oxygen in her body. She cannot eat properly and is underweight unlike most children of her age.

To treat this condition, the doctor has advised Malaha to undergo open-heart surgery for total correction. Unfortunately, Malaha’s parents cannot afford the hefty cost of the surgery. Her father works at a private company and hardly manages to earn PKR 25000 per month. Malaha’s mother also had to undergo surgery due to which he is in debt of almost PKR 3 million. With this huge amount of debt and a family of four to take care of, he is in no position to arrange for his daughter’s surgery. He told us:

“Every day my daughter stands on the threshold between life and death. Every day all of us remain stuck on that threshold too. I want to see my daughter live happily and healthily. I won’t let any illness stop her from dreaming.”
