Before you dwell upon the painful details of Mehmood Ali, know that your help can relieve him of the pain that he has been through before once. Please help him not to go through that again and donate for Mehmood’s Arthroscopy as much as you can.

Mehmood Ali, aged 42, from Gujrat, suffered a tragic incident fifteen years ago where he met with an accident. He injured his left knee joint badly. He went to the hospital and the doctor did the Arthroscopy. But, two months ago he fell on his left knee again and winced in pain. Upon consultation, the doctor asked Mehmood to go through X-rays and MRI test. After the evaluation, the Orthopedic surgeon diagnosed him with ACL Tear.  The doctor advised him to undergo Arthroscopy for ACL Reconstruction. Anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction is a surgical tissue graft replacement of the anterior cruciate ligament, located in the knee, to restore its function after an injury. The torn ligament can either be removed from the knee, or preserved before reconstruction by an arthroscopic procedure.

Mehmood Ali is the sole earner of the family and has a family of seven to raise including his wife and five children. He works as a graphic designer and earns PKR. 20,000 a month. They live in a rented house. With a family to provide for and bills to pay he is unable to afford the cost of this surgery. Mehmood shared his worries with us in the following manner:

“I am the only one earning and have five children to feed, my circumstances are as difficult as my condition. If I get this surgery with my income, I’ll be in debt and my family would starve. Please help my family by assisting me with this surgery of mine.”
