Seventy years old Momin Khan has been suffering from severe pain in his hip joints for eight months. At first, he ignored the pain like any other minor ailment. However, slowly, the pain became unbearable. Upon check-up, the doctor found out that Momin had unknowingly dislocated his right hip joint. Momin’s condition could not be treated with medication. Therefore, surgical intervention is necessary for him. 

To treat Momin’s hip dislocation, the doctor has recommended him to undergo total hip replacement surgery. In a total hip replacement, the orthopedic surgeon removes the damaged bone and cartilage and replaces it with prosthetic components.
