Donate for Muhadsa’s VSD Closure
Muhadsa Abbas's Story
Before we dive into the gory details of Muhadsa’s life-threatening ailment, please know that you can help her. Your donation, however small it may be, will change Muhadsa’s life for good. Therefore, we request that you donate for Muhadsa’s VSD closure as much as you can.
When Muhadsa was born, her parents’ joy knew no bounds. Even though she was a feeble child, they loved their kid immensely and prayed for her wellbeing. When Muhadsa was ten days old, she was getting breathless. After consultation and thorough diagnostic investigation, the doctor has advised Muhadsa with a VSD. A ventricular Septal Defect (VSD) is a hole in the wall separating the two lower chambers of the heart.
The news of her heart disease played havoc with their emotions. The doctor then advised a VSD closure surgery. They did not have the means for the surgery. Now, at the age of two, surgery is crucial for Muhadsa. If the ventricular septal defect is not repaired, his heart may fail and can also affect his lungs while deteriorating his health condition further.
Unfortunately, Muhadsa’s parents do not have the means to arrange for their daughter’s surgery. Muhadsa’s father hardly manages to earn PKR 12,000 per month. With a family of seven to take care of, he is in no position to arrange for her daughter’s surgery. He told us:
“The day I found out about my daughter’s illness was most definitely the worst day of my life. Muhadsa is my jaan – my life. And we feel so helpless seeing her suffer every day. Whoever is reading this, I request you all to please help me save my daughter. Please listen to the cry of a distressed father.”
After a lot of distress, Muhadsa’s parents have registered her case with Transparent Hands. We wish to get Muhadsa out of death’s shadow as soon as possible. But, we cannot do that without your help. Therefore, we request you to please donate for Muhadsa’s VSD closure as much as you can.
Please Note: In certain situations, we proceed with the patient's surgery/medical procedure despite incomplete funding displayed on the website. Following the surgery/medical procedure, we persist in collecting funds and maintain the campaign on the website until funding is secured in full. Hospitals have granted us a grace period for bill payment.
