Muhammad Ali's Story

Before you dive into the gory details of Muhammad Ali’s ailments, please know that you can help him. His cancer is at stage four. But, your donations, however small they may be, will help us arrange for his cancer treatment. Therefore, we request you to donate for Muhammad Ali’s chemotherapy.

Muhammad Ali has been suffering from neck pain for the last year. After consultation and thorough investigation, the doctor diagnosed him with cancer, more specifically, lymphoma. Lymphoma is a cancer of the lymphatic system, which is part of the body’s germ-fighting network. The lymphatic system includes the lymph nodes (lymph glands), spleen, thymus gland and bone marrow. Muhammad Ali’s condition has caused him a fever, night sweats, and rapid weight loss. Muhammad Ali’s life has taken a rather unfortunate turn of events. Doctors have recommended chemotherapy for his cancer treatment after thorough investigations and making the diagnosis. Chemotherapy is a type of cancer treatment that uses a regime of anti-cancer drugs. He requires a six months course of treatment.

Unfortunately, Muhammad Ali cannot afford the hefty cost of his chemotherapy. He works as a manual labourer. Due to his deteriorating health, he is not able to work most of the days. He told us:

“If you ask me, I’ll tell you that there is no cancer bigger than poverty. Despite long hours of hard work, I hardly manage to earn PKR 20000 per month. You tell me how am I supposed to arrange for my chemotherapy on this income?”

Finally, after a lot of effort, Muhammad Ali has registered Transparent Hands for help. We are determined to help him win his battle against cancer. But, we need your help with that. Therefore, we request you to please donate for Muhammad Ali’s chemotherapy as much as you can.
