Muhammad Shan's Story

Muhammad Shan was born with deadly heart disease. The doctor has advised him to undergo open-heart surgery, but his family cannot afford the surgical expenses. We request you to donate for Muhammad Shan’s Open-Heart Surgery and add many years to his life. He is a young man with many dreams and ambitions.

Muhammad Shan, an 18- year-old resident of Bahawalpur, has been suffering from shortness of breath and Cyanosis since birth. He was unable to gain weight due to this heart defect. Upon consultation, he was diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot, which is a congenital defect that affects normal blood flow through the heart. The doctor advised Open-Heart Surgery for the Rastelli procedure. It is a surgical procedure to correct certain combinations of cardiovascular defects in heart patients.

Muhammad Shan lives with his parents and two siblings. His father is the sole earner in the family. He earns just PKR 15,000 per month. Due to financial constraints, his father is unable to bear the expenses of the Open-Heart Surgery his son needs.

Shan expressed his grief in the following words:

“I want to earn and help my father, but my health condition doesn’t allow me to do this. I have many dreams regarding my future. I don’t want to be a financial burden on my parents. So, I request all generous donors to support my Open-Heart Surgery as much as they can and help me take charge of my life. “

Shan’s case is now registered with Transparent Hands. His family members have placed their hopes in your hands. We have assured his family that we will provide their son with the best treatment. You can also contribute to transforming Shan’s future. Even a little donation can change his life. Please donate for Muhammad Shan’s Open Surgery to help him live longer.
