Mumtaz Raza's Story
Before you dive into the details of Mumtaz Raza’s ailment, please know that your donation would mean the world to him. We urge you to donate for Mumtaz’s Ureteroscopy and Lithoclasty as much as you can.
Mumtaz, a 39-year-old resident of Hyderabad, has been suffering from left ureteral stones for the last eight months. Ureteral stones are kidney stones that have become stuck in ureters (the tubes that carry urine from the kidneys to the bladder). If the stone is large enough, it can block the flow of urine from the kidney to the bladder. This blockage can cause severe pain.
To treat this condition, the doctor has advised him to undergo Ureteroscopy. It is a procedure in which a small medical instrument called a ureteroscopy is passed into the urinary tract via the urethral route. This is done to determine the location of a ureteric stone. If the located stone is too big to be removed conventionally, then it is fragmented into smaller pieces using a mechanical instrument called lithoclasty.
Unfortunately, Mumtaz cannot afford the hefty cost of the above-mentioned procedures. He works as a laborer and hardly manages to earn PKR 12,000 per month. Due to his illness, he has been finding it challenging to work regularly. With this meager income, he is in no position to arrange for his procedures. He told us:
“I spend a lot of time in pain but somehow still manage to go to work. Sometimes I wonder if it is my fate to suffer like this. Please help me.”
As a last resort, Mumtaz Raza has requested Transparent Hands for help. We have registered his case and are determined to help him. However, it would not be possible for us to do so without the support of generous donors like you. Therefore, we request you to donate for Mumtaz’s Ureteroscopy and Lithoclasty without any delay. Click the green button above and donate to this cause now.
