Mussarat Fatima's Story

Mussarat Fatima, aged 40, hails from the Kahnewal district of the country. Mussarat aches from cholelithiasis, which refers to the formation of gall stones. We are sure that at some point in your life, you must have heard someone lament how painful having gall stones can be. Well, Mussarat has to deal with the condition every day for the last three years or so. The pain that makes her life miserable is mostly concentrated in the upper right abdominal area. The patient has been advised a laparoscopic cholecystectomy, which we are sure not many of you are familiar with, so let us discuss that briefly.

In simpler words, laparoscopic cholecystectomy refers to a surgical procedure in which a patient’s gall bladder is removed. A laparoscope is just a narrow tube with an attached camera. This tube allows a surgeon to dissect your gall bladder and manage the overall situation in a less invasive way. While we are not doubting the efficiency of the procedure, we cannot deny the fact that it is going to cost Mussarat a great fortune. And as mentioned earlier, Mussarat finds herself unable to afford this surgery, simply because of the fact that her family is in a bit of financial crisis. She says:

“My husband has to support a family of five with the 15,000 he earns every month. To be honest with you, there is NOT just ENOUGH money to manage things, let alone afford my surgery. I know my health has deteriorated a fair bit over the span of the last three months or so. But oh well, what can I do? All I am hoping for is a little miracle.”

Well, you know the patient, you know the story! All that is left for you to do is DONATE for Mussarat Fatima’s cholecystectomy NOW!
