Nageena Bibi, aged 25, hails from the Kasur district and is currently in the 37th week of her pregnancy. To ensure the safe delivery of her baby, doctors have advised Nageena Bibi an elective LSCS. Elective caesareans are usually planned after the 39th week of pregnancy to minimize the probable element of respiratory distress in the neonates. Nageena is not unfamiliar with the procedure, she has undergone LSCS three times before already. The only difference this time around is Nageena’s financial position.

Nageena Bibi's Story
Nageena Bibi, 25 years old, was advised lower segment Caesarean section for the birth of her fourth child since she had a history of three previous C-sections. For this purpose, she was admitted in Lahore Care Hospital and the procedure was performed by Dr. Rakshanda Toheed on 13.12.2020. Nageena gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. She stayed in the hospital for three days and was discharged in a satisfactory condition. Both, mother and the baby are doing well.
